Rule 37
Offer of thanks
(1) After the President addresses the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitution, the Prime Minister shall table a copy of the address at the meeting.
(2) In accordance with Rule 36, after the President has delivered his address, the Prime Minister shall table a copy of the address at the meeting.
(3) To express thanks for the speech made by the President, the Speaker will present a motion of thanks and the Speaker will present the motion for decision before the discussion on the policies and programs of the Government of Nepal.
(4) The motion of thanks passed by the Assembly shall be submitted by the Speaker to the President.
